Learn how to be an effective communicator with any audience: connect with your audience turn listeners into followers and advocates, create compelling introductions and conclusions, handle difficult or controversial issues, and stay on the leadership path.

A leader can either make the Toastmaster experience a fun place to be involved and participate or turn it into drudgery. One of the differentiating factors between these two outcomes is your Leadership Character, which is a diverse variety of personality traits.  In this session you will learn what your own Leadership Motivator is and how you can channel it to turn your Toastmaster Club into a fantastic experience where members turn to it for their regular dose of growth and camaraderie.

"Five Lessons I’ve Learned from 50 Years of Public Speaking", by Michael Buschmohle
The presenter will reveal the lessons of a seasoned public speaker. He will touch on five points: what audiences really want to hear, the quickest way to prepare for every presentation, PowerPoint, what Twitter and sound bites can teach us about phrasing and stories, and the world would be better off without speeches.

"Developing tomorrow's leaders today", by Frank Selden
Gain an understanding of how to identify upcoming leaders in an organizations. The workshop merges two trains of thought. One is the concept of leadership and the other is statistical error theory.

"It wasn't me! The Accountability Crisis: Actions leaders must take to stop it now!", by Randy Boek
The accountability crisis looms large and seems to be in lock step with the great American Entitlement Philosophy. Is there a solution?  Yes and effective leaders are the solution. Participants will be entertained and challenged by real stories of those who have done it well and not so well. Ultimately participants will be left with eight actions and one simple yet powerful leadership tool to use immediately to reset accountability in both life and business.

"Trust: the Leadership Factor that Makes for Growth Oriented Participation", by Ron Rael
There are three reciprocal avenues of trust in leadership and each one is important to be a successful leader in life and in Toastmasters. In this session you will learn what mutual trust is about because when it exists, the leader is able to take big risks and the followers will do whatever their leader asks of them. If you want to be a club where members are always willing to participate and challenge themselves, you must first look within to ensure you are trustworthy and trusting.

"Life of IMPACT", by Martin Presse
Live the life of your dreams following a few simple rules. This session uses the word IMPACT as an acronym for how to live a life that will leave a legacy that others will want to follow. Learn from the presenter’s own personal failures, firsts, frustrations and fears to realize that we can all live a life of tremendous IMPACT if we look at situations the right way.
