Club Officer Training
Districts must train club officers twice per year.
-
First Training: Between June 1 and August 31
-
Second Training: Between November 1 and February 28
Clubs with officers attending training receive credit toward the training goal in the Distinguished Club Program.
After you have attended a Club Officer Training (COT), be sure to log your attendance via our online attendance tracker >>
New Policy in 2026: Three Hours of Training
Please note that Toastmasters International has announced a new three-hour club officer training program. Attending one three-hour session will satisfy officer training requirements for the summer training period.
Alternatively, District 2 is offering virtual COT sessions that can be mixed and matched to satisfy the three-hour requirement. The topics are related to the duties officers must fulfill to support our clubs. Any one-hour session can be used toward the three-hour requirement.
While these sessions are not designed for any particular officer role, some are more aligned with certain positions than others. You may attend a single topic multiple times as each session offers foundational elements and is customized to the participants.
