Facilitator Angela Barrus is energized by exploring growth focused opportunities with people who want to create positive impact and change. As a professional speaker and life coach everything she offers is inspired by her experience from training, negotiating speaking gig logistics, and working one-on-one with clients.
From the foundation of her training and experience, as the D2 Speakers Bureau Chair, Angela has created an easy-to-follow system for Toastmaster clubs to book guest speakers for open houses etc. She has also created a system for speakers to easily create marketing materials to provide for promoting events.
When Angela isn’t coaching, speaking or nerding out on all things D2 Speakers Bureau, she loves to hike, garden, and play with her grandchildren. She also volunteers at the John Volken Academy which provides a long-term addiction recovery program for courageous people who are claiming their divine privilege of sobriety. And we mustn’t forget that she absolutely loves all things chocolate!
